From El Segundo not really. Your best bet would be to hook up with some local that you know real well and wants to party with you.
However, you may be able to get an awesome out of towner discount rate from the local limo services, especially on the week nights when the prices are substantially cheaper. I had a friend that did this once. She was lucky and got surprised by the cheap rate. You might be surprised, so try it out and ask around! They might even charge you per day instead of per hour. Get your friends to chip in too.
If you’re staying in the downtown LA area, there’s quite a few clubs there. However your best bet is Hollywood area. The metro runs down from the downtown to the Hollywood area (red line, I believe). Or, if you are staying near the Staples Center, there’s the Blue line which runs parallel to the 110 freeway, and takes you to Long Beach. LB has a lot of clubs and restaurants too.
I agree with the other people. Rent a car and have a designated driver, or rent a driver. You need a car to get around the LA area
i would say a taxi would be your best bet
Someone needs to be the DD (designated driver) DD has to enjoy the fun without drinking. Remember DUI’s are expensive.
Have fun.
