It is situated in Hollywood Boulevard just near the famous attractions like Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and Hollywood Walk of Fame. The life-like wax figures of famous personalities from film, music, politics and sports are displayed here without any barriers. The visitors can watch the figures and even take photographs standing next to them.
It is a three story building with an elevator taking the visitors to the third floor from where they start watching celebrities and step down to visit other galleries. Photographing is permitted throughout the museum and a souvenir photo can be taken at several places. Such photos include an upside-down photo with Spiderman and a portrait photo with Shrek.

It extends from Hallandale Beach Boulevard to North Beach Park that stretches nearly two and half miles along the Atlantic Ocean. The beach comprises palm tree laden white sands with many amenities for relaxation and entertainment. It is the ideal place for walking, jogging, biking and rollerblading. For bikers there is a separate bike bath that gives them uninterrupted ride. At the north side of the broadwalk there is a sea turtle hatchery and some picnic facilities.

There are three playground areas with swings, slides and picnic pavilions. The Garfield paddle ball court is for paddle ball players. A 60 foot observation tower is situated adjacent to the North Beach Park. Showers, restrooms, shelters and fishing piers are also available in the beach. The beach safety includes twenty one lifeguard towers, eight first aid stations, colored lights and lanterns during the night. Several beachfront restaurants and cafes provide foods and drinks at moderate rates. The Hollywood Beach outdoor theatre arranges free concerts and programs.

Pets are not allowed in the beach. There is no need of license for saltwater fishing but oceanfront fishing is allowed only before 8. a.m. and after 6.p.m.Fireworks and firearms are not permitted in the beach.

This beautiful open air theatre sits on a 45 acre park like setting opposite to Hollywood Bowl on Cahuenga Boulevard. The stage of the theatre is set against the natural backdrop of the chaparral and cypress vegetations of the Hollywood Hills. It is owned and managed by the County of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles based arts organizations present public performances in the theatre during every summer.

The History of Ford Theatre:
The theatre was originally built in 1920 by Christine Wetherill Stevenson and others for staging the religious play, The Pilgrimage. A wooden amphitheatre was built by Christine Wetherill Stevenson and the play was performed every summer from 1920 to 1929.In October 1929 a fire broke out in the theatre and it was completely destroyed. The theatre was rebuilt in concrete by Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1931 and the play continued to stage till 1964.The theatre was deeded to the County of Los Angeles in 1941 but a law suit against playing the religious play in a County facility resulted in stopping the play from 1964 onwards. The theatre was renamed in the year 1976 and the name became John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in remembrance to John Anson Ford who was the former Los Angeles County supervisor for his support to creative arts and music.

The theatre has a total area of 1242 square feet including an indoor theatre having 87 seats. The flooring of the theatre is done using nonsprung wood, stone and marley.The furniture include chairs, podium, tables and the artist amenities include dressing rooms, green room and shower. The audio visual systems comprises digital projector, sound systems, MP3/auxiliary input, PA system, DVD player, projection screen and microphone.

Stage Performances at the Theatre:
The summer season consists of a series of dance, drama and music performances staged from May through October every year. Each summer it organizes film festivals on a full size movie screen using 35mm projectors. The indoor theatre is used for dramatic performances during off season.
The stage programs undertaken by the theatre is aimed at nurturing the artists, arts organizations and the Los Angeles community in general. It helps to discover the cultural diversity of the region by organizing programs and concerts for a large diversity of people.

The famous Hollywood Farmer’s Market is located on NE Hancock between 44th & 45th Avenue, Portland, Oregon. An incredible collection of local fruits, vegetables, bakery items, meats and many agricultural products are available in this market. This open air street market has approximately 90 farmers, 30 baked food vendors and 30 local artisans who sell their own products every Sunday. Besides fresh vegetables and fruits, this venue is a shopping centre for other products like poultry, eggs, honey, jams, jellies, clothing, jewelry, gifts and many more.

Special events are arranged by the local nonprofit community organizations that include children’s craft workshops, chef demonstrations and family oriented festivals. There will be performances by the street musicians in the market. The Farmer’s Market is open from 8 am to 1 pm.
