I was the Father of my kids and I had a hard time flying

I had to have all kinds of Id and they had to have a Social Security Card and Id..and a letter from their mother as we were divorced

I flew from Detroit to Florida…that was OK but a week later I tried
to board the plane from Orlando to Detroit and the Security made me
almost miss the flight as they kept going over my information and I did
not have the mother’s permission..they wanted Birth Certificates
Picture ID and Social Security..and this was all new to me…and I
think I will never forget this ..and this was 1984..so now? I don’t know
but you better find out at the Airlines

Yes, make sure he carries his visa and passport with him and have his parents give consent in the form of a notorized letter as documentation that it is ok. You always need this info if you are travelling with a minor who is not your own.
